Make sure you select the correct truck year from the drop-down options. Depending on the year of your truck a different resistor is needed in order to integrate correctly with the computer that controls signal lights. This is why we test, to make sure you get the right parts, for real!
The install is simple, remove your taillight housing (2 screws), swap out your old bulb for the new LED bulb on each side, and follow these instructions on installing the load-equalizing-resistors (click here).
NOTE: If your Ram truck already has the LED tail light housings, this bulb kit is not needed! This kit is designed for those trucks with halogen / incandescent style bulbs only!
We supply: only the highest quality LED bulbs so you won't have any headaches and they will last a long time. This kit comes with everything you need to do the install. The new LED bulbs are significantly brighter than your original incandescent bulbs, so they will look better and be safer to operate. Also the "instant-on, instant-off" function is more modern looking and attention getting.
Please: verify that you do not already have factory LED tail lights and turn signals prior to ordering.

Lights work great, but the kits do not include all that is needed to make them work. DoesnÃôt include parking light resistors and then youÃôll be expected to pay for them separately when everything is supposed to be included to make the lights function properly.

LED Upgrades for my 2012 Dodge Ram

I upgraded every OEM bulb with lights from Headlight Revolution. Across the board the install was simple and the lights are currently working flawlessly. The YouTube channel for install was a great resource and made switching out the lights a breeze.
This review is for the rear tail light, brake, turn signal, and reverse.
The upgrade kits had all of the parts needed to perform the upgrade and the install was simple (even for a non-mechanically inclined person like me.) The only issue after install was the passenger side turn signal rapid blinked and I received an error message the first hour or so after install. The issue self-corrected and the turn signal has worked perfectly since. After one night the driverÃôs side turn signal started to rapid blink and I received an error message. As with the passengerÃôs side, the issue self corrected within a day and has worked correctly since.
As to the quality of the bulbs,
They are a significant upgrade from the OEM lights. The reverse lights are very bright but do not wash out your back up camera.
I would highly recommend Headlight Revolution as their products are of high quality and their install videos/customer service are great
