Brighter: The Ultra Series 2 bulbs from GTR Lighting utilize the best automotive grade multi-core LED chip technology to deliver ultra-bright light, in an ultra-focused beam pattern! Not only do the elec-tec automotive-grade NLW753 chips have more lumen density than popular (but now aging) options from CREE and Philips, but theres more to it. We have optimized the position of the LEDs so that once locked into the headlight, they are directly in-line with what the optics of the projector or reflector was designed for which will provide you, the driver the most useful and safe beam pattern. The collars have full rotational adjustability. Put simply: Youll see a lot more, but without producing extra glare to oncoming traffic.
More Reliable: Performance aside, these are the last LED headlight bulbs you'll ever need! After many simulations, we arrived at a heat-sink design that is not only extremely effective at keeping the body of the bulb >80C, but looks cool too. Since maintaining low operating temperatures is key to LED lifespan, weve paired that with a bearing-less fan to actively cool the heat sink as well. The housing on our LED drivers is completely potted inside too, which is only possible with expensive-to-produce die-cast housings like the one that the Ultra 2 uses. Keeping cool and all components dry is crucial, and the Ultra 2 checks all the boxes.
Better Fitment: We challenge you to find an alternative that produces the same amount of output with the same small footprint that the Ultra 2 has. Here we took a balanced approach between maximizing output and minimizing geometry so that theyll fit in every application. Too much power and an inadequate heatsink? Premature failure. Too much power and a massive heat sink? Great, but wont fit anywhere. Due to their superior optical focus they can create up to 10x more usable light than other LED bulb options even though they only produce 4,100 Lumen of light. If you're looking for the brightest option thats a sure fit, you've found it.
Best Warranty: You can hit the road knowing that youll be backed with a Limited Lifetime warranty from here on out. If in the rare case something goes wrong, GTR Lighting will replace the product quickly.

Excellent Upgrade

I purchased both the 55W headlight upgrade kit and fog light upgrade kit for my 2015 Jeep Cherokee and it is safe to say there is a huge improvement. So much so that oncoming traffic on dark country roads arenÃôt too happy with me. There is a lot more light that shines up and away from the car making overhead road signs substantially brighter so I can understand why oncoming traffic may think my high-beams are on. I contacted support regarding this and the suggestion is to lower the aim of my lights. I havenÃôt tried this yet at the time of this writing.
Since I have the 2015 model, the additional wiring harness was required. Resister packs go in place of the OEM headlights to fool the CANBUS into thinking bulbs are still present. Relays and a direct connection to the vehicle battery run power the upgrade kit. The kit included a capacitor to help reduce flicker from the CANBUS signal, but for some reason my car would show a headlight out warning while the capacitor was installed. After some troubleshooting, I removed the resister and the system has been running fine for two months now with no flicker.
Overall, IÃôm happy with the system and how bright the new bulbs are. Installation was relatively easy and I found spots to hide the components. Technical support was great to work with and very knowledgeable.

Put the hid lights on my wifes car and IÃôm a hero now. She can see way better in the dark now. We have a LOT of elk and deer around here and they seem to like crossing and hanging around the roadside. Now she can see them from farther away and better. Had one of the lights with a disconnected wire end. Called and they were very fast about sending me a replacement set. Great lights and service

I can't express enough how much I love my HID and fog light kit. I bought 2 kits, one for me and one for my mom for her birthday. Lets face it, I do love my Jeep but Jeep sure failed when it came to the stock lights in this particular vehicle. The dealer recommended HR and I'm so thankful they did! Makes for a much safer trip now that I can see the road. Thank you for making this kit! I've been looking since the first time I took my Jeep on the road at night. Even tried ordering a kit from Jeep and they don't even offer it. Well worth the price!

Wow,,, I replaced the fog lights with HR LED replacements on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee... wow I cant believe the difference they made.. unbelievably easy to install. I just followed the YouTube video...thanks for making such a great product..

2014 Cherokee HID Conversion

The GTR 5th Generation is the BEST plug and play HID conversion kit on the market. Great tutorial videos for all of the products sold here on HR help make the conversion seamless even for those that are not mechanically inclined. The plug and play Ballast is PWM/CANBUS safe, and I can confirm compatibility with the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The lifetime warranty was ultimately the deciding factor to purchase with HR, and specifically the GTR 5th generation HID Set. Would have 100% confidence in purchasing again, these guys have done it right!
2016 Jeep Cherokee HID Headlamp Upgrade

I ordered this HID upgrade kit and they are very good and do provide a BIG improvement over the stock OEM halogens installed (even at 35 watt instead of 55 watt!!!). The pain is for this vehicle you have to take the wheel underwell cover off, turn the wheels and cramp into a tight spot. OK, no big deal. I ordered the fog light too and figured to install everything at one time while the under wheel cover was off. BUT HR takes your money in full even after a 3 weeks "out of stock" order which they don't let you know. Then when it came in finally one bulb of the kit was defective. which I didn't find out until after I installed and turned on the car lights to find out after 2 hours of troubleshooting that the bulb was indeed bad! I called HR who then said they'd ship overnight the a replacement bulb. Great! Overnight turned out to be 3 days!!! I work the week so my weekend was spent again installing the other half of the conversion kit (Bulb only). After removing the underwheel cover (AGAIN) I noticed the tag on the the 2 bulb replacements sent said 35 watt instead of the 55 watt bulb ordered. Not what I ordered!!! I had to install BOTH bulb kits. A lot of my time wasted and labor! Thus my 2 stars!
