Headlight Performance:
The Ultra Series LED Reverse Bulbs are so powerful that it's not even funny. Many of our customers liken them to having a whole other set of extra lights back there. That's how much brighter the world gets when you have more than 1000 lumens of useable light back there. In fact, the average 55w headlight outputs around 1200 lumens so these are serious. And really, they'll fit anywhere a 3156 will so use them wisely.
Installation:

Very bright but mounting could be better.

I purchased these to replace the stock halogen reverse lights in my 2017 F150 XLT. These lights are by far MUCH brighter than the stock bulbs, however, the push in style mounting leaves something to be desired. I understand the concept of why they designed them to mount like they did, making them more "universal", however, when pushing them into the housings of my truck, they never really seemed to fit snug and were very easy to rotate which was annoying after finding the right angle for them to get the best possible output with the shape of the reflectors. Another downside to this mounting method was that they do not seal the housing. My factory sockets have 3 "lugs" which hold the factory bulb in place with a quick turn. These lights do not cover the slots in the back of the reflector housing where those lugs enter and given the amount of dust on the back of the housings, it would only be a short matter of time before dust makes it into the light housing itself. I ended up placing a bead of silicone around the housing to seal the holes and to help hold the lights in place to prevent further inadvertent rotating of the bulbs and to help ensure they stay in. 5/5 for brightness, but 3/5 for the mounting design.
