Craftsmanship: Designing a high-quality LED is a task GTR Lighting took seriously. Unlike so many companies that skimped on every single detail they possibly could, this 9005/HB3 GTR Ultra Series 2.0 features a multi-faceted design that covers every base with real attention to detail.
The Best: While so many others use Philips or CREE LED chips, GTR went with a high-quality NLW753 option to ensure better results. Those results show through to the finished product too thanks to digitally optimized LED positioning that emulates the original filament location precisely. Combining these features is the key to getting all the light from the source to the reflector surface and ultimately onto your target without wasted lumens and glare all over.
Unstoppable: Consider this, GTR backs the performance of this LED light for life. They can be that confident because of all the work they've done to ensure it won't fail. The internals are 100% potted and waterproof for the wettest of trails or the heaviest rains. That means that the fan will never stop cooling either so temps never rise above 80c, well below the threshold for danger. They knew what they were doing when they assembled this rugged LED.
Better Fitment:We've heard many who assume that because the Ultra Series 2.0 is smaller than competitors that it's weaker and less capable. They couldn't be more wrong. Thanks to that small stature, it requires less energy to keep cool and keep power to the LED up. That results in 4100 lumens of output and a considerably easier time installing them. There are zero downsides here.

This bulbs are much better than OEM bulbs and the GTR Lighting 35w HID bulbs.
They are much brighter and have a better cutoff pattern.
I have them installed in my 2012 Mercedes C63 without any issues.
I am using the Depot Projector Headlights.
They came with halogen bulbs and I upgrade them to HID and now with the led bulbs they have a better lighting pattern.

Pro: Bright as hell, very good high beam pattern
Con: Bright as hell, reflections off of highway signs can be dazzling.
High beams are in are also my DRL's in my 2009 Acura RDX which uses a PWM module to reduce the light output. I have not noticed flickering due to the PWM. I did order a anti-flickering add-in after i installed the bulbs just in case I needed it.

I bought these for my LOTUS Exige, which stock lighting bulb was a mess. Now with the GTR Gen 2 it's really fun to drive in the night. Best beam pattern I've seen from an aftermarket Led (tried four different types thinking cheaper is better). The GTR Gen 2 are 100% worth the money!

Just installed the 9005 into the high beam if a MKIV Supra..... I had HID 55 watts in them previously which were incredibly bright but they took what felt like an eternity to get to full brightness which was frustrating...... held off on LED because I felt the tech was not there yet..... I found HR and followed their tests closely... I became very interested after seeing comparisons between GTR Ultra2 and HID 35w and 55w..... the ability to be instantly on was a must.... I purchased and hoped they would be close to the 55w HID...... even before I installed I did not believe they would come close..... I did have to adjust the LEDs so the light was firing left n right rather than up down etc but that was easy...... I was shocked after testing them once it became dark! They were just as bright as the 55w HID in the supra reflector high beam lense but seem to have an even better beam pattern..... what more can I say... worth every cent I paid.. wow wow wow.... very happy!! Thank you HR and Chris for your brilliant work and honest testing.... these truly are the real deal! Easy install and plenty of room for the fan to do its thing.....

Very easy to install and the beam patter matches the halogen bulbs exactly. Also the build quality is amazing. I had to buy a different cover for the light housings from Amazon, that is the only special thing I had to do while installing these.

After reading all the reviews I decided on these and they are worth it.
Just a heads up the heatsink and fan do protrude a decent amount so if your housing looks tight be prepared to look into replacing the factory dust-caps.

I have these in my high beam and fog lights. I love them. Will at some point lord willing get GTR HIDS in my low beams.
