Craftsmanship: Designing a high-quality LED is a task GTR Lighting took seriously. Unlike so many companies that skimped on every single detail they possibly could, this H13/9008 GTR Ultra Series 2.0 features a multi-faceted design that covers every base with real attention to detail.
The Best: While so many others use Philips or CREE LED chips, GTR went with a high-quality NLW753 option to ensure better results. Those results show through to the finished product too thanks to digitally optimized LED positioning that emulates the original filament location precisely. Combining these features is the key to getting all the light from the source to the reflector surface and ultimately onto your target without wasted lumens and glare all over.
Unstoppable: Consider this, GTR backs the performance of this LED light for life. They can be that confident because of all the work they've done to ensure it won't fail. The internals are 100% potted and waterproof for the wettest of trails or the heaviest rains. That means that the fan will never stop cooling either so temps never rise above 80c, well below the threshold for danger. They knew what they were doing when they assembled this rugged LED.
Better Fitment: We've heard many who assume that because the Ultra Series 2.0 is smaller than competitors that it's weaker and less capable. They couldn't be more wrong. Thanks to that small stature, it requires less energy to keep cool and keep power to the LED up. That results in 4100 lumens of output and a considerably easier time installing them. There are zero downsides here.
Best Warranty: We can't overstate this. You won't need another headlight bulb after these ones. They're so solid and strong that GTR backs them for life.

Not so good

I recently installed these in a 2015 Jeep Wrangler, not very impressed with them. Come to find out for this application the v.4's are a better fit after watching the video on the best LED bulb for a Jeep Wrangler. Wished I had watched that before buying these.

My wife bought these headlights for a 2008 Ford expedition. We have a lot of deer areas where they cross the road.. With these Bob's we can see farther down the road And the coverage to the sides of the road is so much more. Love the fact that these lights were plug and play even set the right way for in a light. I would definitely recommend these.

where do i start. First they dont plug into the gtr pwm modules. Prongs dont line up with the holes and it leave you with bent prongs and bad connections. Second, they are NOT brighter than the v4. Side by side comparison and they werent even close. Third, horrendous beam pattern. Fourth, if you need to adjust the collars dont plan using the provided allen key. Wrong size! Fifth, flat wire just doesn't look like it'll hold up to any accidental pinching. They also don't separate the drivers from the bulbs and its kinda short. I double side taped my driver's somewhere for a clean install and it was more of a pain with short wiring. Just a total bust. They're going back and I'll keep the v4s. On another note the new carbide bulbs for f250 switchbacks... don't bother. THEY DON'T FIT THROUGH THE HOLE! HR I'm totally let down once again. My 63k truck has been tore apart for the last time concerning what you sell. I'm not your r&d division.

After 3 weeks of use, here's what I found. Yes - they're *bright* - waaay better than the stock halogens. They don't throw quite as far with the stock elevation settings - will play with that. This comes into play at highway speeds. Fantastic when paired with the LED fogs - great combo for up & over twisty mountain passes. Where they stumble is in fog - mostly due to color temp & brightness. Still - very happy with them.

Replaced headlights (Ultra 2), fog lights (Ultra 2), and turn signal (GTR switchback) bulbs all at the same time and all I can say is, WOW! The light is a super bright white and it truly is a major upgrade (cosmetic and performance). The lifetime warranty is just icing on the cake. The white switchback turn signal looks great and functions yellow when it's supposed to. Not the cheapest route for LED lighting cv upgrade, but with the GTR Ultra 2 it's money well spent.
