Complete H3C HID Kit: If you've been looking for a complete one-stop-shop kinda kit to run HIDs, this one from GTR Lighting has been painstakingly designed to optimize performance and reliability. High-quality materials are everywhere and the output is exceptional from the Ultra Series HID bulbs. Expect it to impress all your friends.

The Pinnacle: One of the HID bulbs that put GTR Lighting on the map was this, the Ultra Series. It provides a seriously powerful upgrade to anyone looking to go from halogen to HID.

Precision: One of the hardest things to do in HID lighting is to get the alignment of the bulb itself in the halogen-based housing. Without that, no amount of tweaking and modification is going to get you proper lighting. Thankfully, GTR went to painstaking lengths to ensure an absolutely perfect alignment with the Ultra Series. Each and every bulb is laser aligned into the housing and checked for fitment before it leaves the factory.

Materials: To ensure that alignment doesn't go to waste, GTR uses the best Philips UV Resistant Quartz available. It won't dim and fade fast like lesser alternatives. It comes standard with insulated wiring to make the connections from your AMP style connectors to your ballast as though this harness came from the factory itself. No cutting, no soldering, no splicing. Just plug-n-play performance.

Benchmarking: GTR Lighting didn't design a ballast with simply their own product in mind, they built it to outperform the best of the best in the business. That's why you'll appreciate that the Ultra Series HID Ballast is quieter the competitors while also providing a lighting quick ignition of intense brightness in just .1 seconds with complete power in only 9 seconds. The assembly itself is built to handle the roughest trails, tracks, and weather you can throw at it. This ballast is the complete package.

Installation Ease: Coming in at an incredible compact 2.75x3.5 inches, thisballast is small enough to fit almost anywhere and has complete mounting hardware as well as a grounding strap included.

Flicker Free & No More Bulb Out: Thanks to intelligent Canbus integration technology and an ASIC controller, these ballasts can handling pulsed width voltage or even a complex Canbus circuit. By leveraging those innovations you'll never get lamp out warnings, bulb out warnings, or flickering lighting. GTR really did think of everything.

Body: The high-quality materials will have you proud of your purchase too. The harness itself is 13 inches long, providing more than ample installation flexibility. The body of the ballast is shockproof to handle all of the roads' bumps and bruises, and the outer layer of the wiring loom is fitted with abrasion-resistant mesh so you can count on this ballast to have no weak links.

It don't work for 2015

keith aquino

Instruction should be a little bit more detailed as far as it not working for 2015 Ram 1500 models. It Turned off on me in the middle of the freeway. Use the morimoto wiring harness for ram with this product if you're going to install it on a 2015 ram 1500 models. But other than that awesome light.

This headlight kit was easy

Landon Lunsford

This headlight kit was easy to install. I haven't had it in very long but so far everything is working great. I did purchase the relay harness which took a while to install It the right way. It would be nice to have a video from HR on how to install the relay to make it easier. Other than that everything is great quality.

GTR 55w HID conversion kit

2013 Ford Explorer. I also tried Amazon LEDs on my Explorer, trying to improve the horrible halogen projectors in this vehicle. Seriously, this Explorer has the worse stock headlights I've ever seen. The LEDs helped, but faded out and burned out a few leds chips

Took about 45 minutes to install, as the right bulb wasn't as good as the left side. And I tinkered a bit trying to get it perfect...never did. Then I hit the road, and Holy Cow!!
These lights are amazing. I'm pretty sure the projectors in this Explorer aren't the best. The samples in the videos has nicer projectors. I could swap them to see it it follows the headlight, but after driving and seeing the results I won't bother. Very bright lights! I adjusted them so I don't blind anyone. I was planning to add new projector fog units, as I don't have fog or snow in Tampa, but now there's no need. I'll just add Yellow LED fog lights.

Can't believe I didn't buy these when I got the Explorer. $40,000 Explorer. $299 for headlights in order to drive safely? AND a lifetime warranty. AND fantastic service reps (looking at you Jake) and support?! What are you waiting on?

There was a little confusion about UPS saying I'm getting a shipment from THE RETROFIT SOURCE. But the box was labeled Headlight Revolution. Must be owned by the same company? Worked for me, as it shipped from Atlanta to Tampa in 2 days.

Thank You Headlight Revolution!!!
But Please do a video/test with a 2011-2018 Ford Explorer!

Amazing HID Kit !

Bynet Communication

I Have Installed this bulb in my Hyundai Ioniq 2018 model and its amazing.
The light pattern remains the same but the light brightness and distance is increased and the color is awesome!
Also i notice that my auto Line keep assist works better and detects the line better which is a huge benefit.

The installation wasn't easy but with the assist of Headlight revolution i was able to install it easily .
Hyundai last models also have not regular housing type for H7 bulbs so with HR help i was able to find and order housing for the bulb.

2016 Ford Edge

Joe Garcia

Installed in our 2016 Ford Edge. Initially, the bulbs would not come on. After emailing HR staff, they advised to swap the pins on the connector that plugs into the factory plug, as the polarity might be swapped. Using their YouTube video, I was able to easily swap the pin position. The lights fired right up. These lights are extremely bright. We may have been better off with the 35 watt bulbs. We will adjust the beams down a little bit to see if that helps.
