Craftsmanship: Designing a high-quality LED is a task GTR Lighting took seriously. Unlike so many companies that skimped on every single detail they possibly could, this H4/9003 GTR Ultra Series 2.0 features a multi-faceted design that covers every base with real attention to detail.
The Best: While so many others use Philips or CREE LED chips, GTR went with a high-quality NLW753 option to ensure better results. Those results show through to the finished product too thanks to digitally optimized LED positioning that emulates the original filament location precisely. Combining these features is the key to getting all the light from the source to the reflector surface and ultimately onto your target without wasted lumens and glare all over.
Unstoppable: Consider this, GTR backs the performance of this LED light for life. They can be that confident because of all the work they’ve done to ensure it won’t fail. The internals are 100% potted and waterproof for the wettest of trails or the heaviest rains. That means that the fan will never stop cooling either so temps never rise above 80c, well below the threshold for danger. They knew what they were doing when they assembled this rugged LED.
Better Fitment: We’ve heard many who assume that because the Ultra Series 2.0 is smaller than competitors that it’s weaker and less capable. They couldn’t be more wrong. Thanks to that small stature, it requires less energy to keep cool and keep power to the LED up. That results in 4100 lumens of output and a considerably easier time installing them. There are zero downsides here.
Best Warranty: We can’t overstate this. You won’t need another headlight bulb after these ones. They’re so solid and strong that GTR backs them for life.
HR Tested: Here at Headlight Revolution, we spend a lot of time installing and testing the products you’ll find for sale. We don’t favor any particular brand, so our commitment to you is that we’ll deliver the best product for your application, period. Very bright don't need to use my high beams
These bulbs are bright as advertised, installed mine 2 days ago and there is a massive improvement in night time driving. Takes a bit of nudging in a Corolla but well worth it. Seriously considering for my fogs.
GTR Ultras - 2015 Platinum Tundra Crewmax
Received one slightly damaged headlight bulb. Hoping for the best I installed it anyways since I had installed the first one already and didn't want mismatched bulbs. Unfortunately due to this issue I now have uneven headlight beams. Bulbs are plug and play but bigger hands made installation a little more difficult than should have been. Lights are bright as advertised but expected better quality control for the money spent on ÃúHeadlight BulbsÃù.
Major Step Up
Next to the stock, this are a major step up. Goes in with no problem and lights up everything. I would like to see a bit more focus on the beam but still better from the stock.
Nothing Else I've Tried Comes Close (Long Review Ahead)
Let me start by saying I've been through the wringer with LED bulbs from various sources (most from Amazon). The experience was extremely hit or miss. I ended up going through four pairs of bulbs that all produced completely different results on a 2015 Honda Fit. The best I had found for the money were the Hikari H4 LED listed for about $40 at the time of purchase. However, "best" means the low beam pattern was serviceable. The high beams on every single bulb were a disaster, with streaks and splotches of light with dark spots all over the place.
All of these chinesium bulbs totally overrated their brightness and most of them had terrible, unsafe beam patterns. I eventually stumbled across these GTR Lighting bulbs thanks to the Headlight Revolution LED bulb round-up video. After seeing this, I stalked the product page for months, and eventually worked myself up to purchase them. If these bulbs wouldn't do the job, I was going back to high-end Halogens.
After UPS finally managed to get these to me nearly 2 weeks later, I didn't waste a second installing them, which was about a 2/10 on the difficulty scale. The only problem I had was getting them in the right orientation with the LED chips at 9 and 3 and the little blinders on the bulb itself facing downward. Once aligned, I zip tied the drivers in a safe location away from any high-heat components, which was made super easy with the long, beefy flat cable. There were also a couple of zip ties included in each bulb box, which is a nice touch.
I waited for dusk, crossed my fingers and finally turned these puppies on and HOLY CRAP are they bright! More importantly, I saw a nice crisp cut-off line (just like the stock H4). I flicked on the high beams and was pleased to see a very usable beam pattern that throws WAY down the road. Is the pattern as good as a Halogen H4? No, but it's 95% there. It's no problem at all in practical use. Also, I was thrilled to see the DRL mode also works perfectly, as the Fit and other Hondas use the headlight high-beams in series to produce a dimmer DRL light.
To give some context, I live in Tucson AZ, and most of our roads are VERY dark. These pierce the night with a beautiful light that closely mimics daylight. No blueish tint, no weird fringing at the edges, just a crisp white across the pattern. After adjusting these correctly at my workplace, no oncoming cars have flashed me. I tested the glare with a family member in their car sitting on the opposite side of the road facing me, and they said it was no problem at all. These also pair pretty wheel with my cheapo BeamTech H8 bulbs in the foglights, as they also produce a near-stock beam pattern.
To sum it up, this is the only way to go if want good LED headlights and you have a GK5 Fit. Moreover, the lifetime warranty gives me peace of mind that these are the last bulbs I will ever need to buy. Unlike 99% of other aftermarket LED offerings out there, GTR Lighting has confidence in the quality of their product. However, if you can't stomach the price of these bulbs, just stick with upgraded Halogen bulbs (such as Philips Vision Plus). I can guarantee most other bulbs on the market are going to be a huge waste of time and money. This is a classic case of buy once, cry once.
TL; DR: For a 3rd Gen Honda Fit, these are the only way to go if you care about having the best LED headlights. For the time being, these are the closest you're gonna get to a Halogen beam pattern with face-melting brightness. I am very picky about headlight performance, and these are the only ones on the market that have impressed me. If you have a GK5 Honda Fit and you can't stomach the price of the Ultra 2, just stick with good quality Halogen bulbs and save yourself from the headache of cheapo chinesium LED bulbs.
GTR Ultra 2
Good beam pattern. Light is bit on the harsh side compared to the Phillips Ultinon. There is definitely some eye strain with the color the bulbs put out.
Lights up the road!
These are so much better that the stock lights that came with my car.
Upgrade from high intensity incandescent
Upgrade from high intensity incandescent and these are easily 2x+ brighter. I have had in my truck now for a week all seems good!

After the reviews I have seen of these bulbs I expected them to be good but I was totally surprised. I have fitted in a 2019 Ford Transit MK 7.
Install went by the book, couldn't be easier once I saw the HR Video on installing H4 bulbs.
My first drive at night was a complete revelation, very powerful lighting, with an excellet beam patten so I don't dazzle oncoming traffic.
I highly recomend these bulbs, really a night and day difference to your vehicle.
Let There Be Light
I'm a long time user of Hella H4 lights, first time for LED. Back in the early 80's when they were illegal for road use I had them, with 100 watt halogen bulbs. These LED's are as bright as they were, and the color temp is much better. My current set up is stock lamp housings on a Honda Element, and except for some minor shadows, they light up the road very very well. Aiming is critical to getting the light just right. Spent a few nites between each adjustment, and now they are dialed in. Have not been flashed by oncoming drivers. Light scatter is minimal, and beam pattern good. Highly recommend these, if they fit in your budget. Funny, after using these for 3 months, other vehicles lights appear yellow.
