Factory-replacement lights have multi-surface reflectors and are DOT approved. Multi-surface reflectors provide up to 30 percent more light output than factory housings. Get up to 60 percent more light by pairing with Vision X halogen bulbs (sold separately).

Great product and with the right LED bulb, the beam pattern and output is amazing.

This pair of lights were purchased for the high beam on my C5500 Chev and they installed right into the vehicle as advertised. Much better light with them than with the stock lights that came in the vehicle.

I installed these on my 2004 379 peterbilt. Stock sealed beam headlights are horribly dim and have hardly no beam pattern. I was looking at replacing with JW Speaker headlights but at 233-250 a piece!, (depending on heated or none heated) I started looking for a cheaper alternative. I found the vision x 4x6 housings with replaceable 9007 bulbs at $65 for the pair! I had planned to just put a high quality 9007 led bulb in at some time but In the meantime put a cheap halogen in. I didn't however realize how much of an improvement these, with a cheap halogen installed, would make! There isn't even a comparison over stock sealed beam headlights! They have a great center hot spot with a decent cut off when on dim. I have no illusions that there are better LED alternatives out there. But $65 for housings and $20 for bulbs being all in at $85 for a dramatic improvement over stock sealed beams is hard to beat. I would still like to put in some good led bulbs maybe gtr or S-V.4. It would be awesome if HR would do a review and help me with that decision. So if you want to improve your 80s headlight technology to the 21st century then don't hesitate. But if you want the quality of HIDs or new style OEM LEDs and don't mind spending $500 or more then I would look at something like JW Speaker 8800 evolution 2 or Vision X Vortex.

Replaced original halogen sealed beams on 1985 GMC K3500 with these heavy glass housings. Extremely pleased with the quality of glass vs plastic which eliminates dealing with lense that turn yellow or cloudy opaque greatly diminishing light output. Very fairly priced.
