Morimoto's commitment to excellence is evident in the latest generation of Ford Super Duty projector headlight upgrades and of course, these fog lights. From durable polycarbonate lenses to ultra-light powder-coated cast aluminum housings, everything about these fogs is geared toward standing the test of time. We've tested various models in all sorts of extreme conditions and found the housing is capable of protecting internal components by creating a nearly impenetrable shield to moisture and debris.

Great Upgrade for My 2011 F250 - Doesn't Blind Oncoming Traffic
by Adrean -
I just installed the Morimoto XB clear LED fog lights on my 2011 F250 – definitely recommend them. My original Halogen H10 bulbs were still installed after nearly 12 years and were pretty tired. After significant research, I chose these because they do NOT blind oncoming traffic – they have a very tightly focused fog beam that is wide and low. Overall, it’s my impression the Morimoto XBs are very well-engineered and well-built. They are probably a little brighter than my old halogens, but much better focused, and match the color temperature of my new GTR Ultra 2.0 LED headlight H13s.
I was a little surprised to find no installation instructions in the box from HR, and the minimal instructions on the HR site were not helpful – they were only about the electrical connection. Installation was not complex, but took some time, as the upper two bolts in the OEM housing plate are very difficult to get to. Be sure to remove the outer bumper brace brackets to help with access.
No more oncoming drivers flashing
by Jules
These XB Fog lights are deceiving. When you first install them they don’t seem as bright when standing in front. But this is not the case. The standard Ford fog lights made by Valeo/Sylvania produce a lot of glare and have no significant cut off. The Morimoto lights have a very sharp, well defined cut off with a very wide beam pattern. When combined with well adjusted headlights these provide an excellent fill in on the side of the road for spotting deer. Run the fog lights all the time and stop all the oncoming drivers flashing you. It’s the glare of the fog lights not the headlights that are driving them mad. Another mod to consider is to enable “Bambi” mode in the Ford using FORScan which allows the fog light and high beam to be on simultaneously, as is allowed in Europe.

Look great! Highly recommended.
2016 F350 Morimoto Fog Light
by Acoustics, Inc -
Definitely like the fog lights. The install instructions are absolutely HORRIBLE as all they deal with is the wiring of the lights. The good part for me was that I already swapped out the OEM fog lights with Rough Country squares so I reverted back to their install instructions which are spot on. Lights are a welcome upgrade without being too bright.
Great Fog Light!!

Installation is really easy, but there is not a lot of room to work. But take your time and the results are well worth the effort.
Excellent light, looks great on my 2016 Ford Super Duty

Installation wasn't overly difficult. There aren't any real instructions to go by, but it was fairly easy if you are mechanically minded. There was a plate with four bolts on each side that had to be temporarily removed to access the fog light housing, just forward of the wheels. The fog light housing itself had only 3 small bolts to remove, which were a bit harder to remove with the limited space provided. Once the bolts were out, the fog light assembly came out without any issues. On the back of the housing, there are four retainer clips that need to be removed before removing the four nuts holding the front plastic assembly together. Be careful, the studs are plastic, which is surprising that they didn't use metal. After that, you need to remove the single spring loaded adjustment screw to remove the OEM light assembly. There are two additional plastic pivot-like pins that need to be removed with pliers before the inner lens assembly can be removed. Once you remove the inner fog light, the rest is self-explanatoryöjust reverse everything you did up to this point. It took me about 1.5 to 2 hours to do. I took my time as the OEM housing has a lot of plastic that can break, so be careful. You can adjust the new fog lights via the small bolt on the back of the OEM housingöthe place where you had to remove the spring loaded bolt to install the new fog lights. Over-all, I really like the look of the fog lights, they don't blind oncoming traffic, but put out a decent amount of daytime color light far left and right of the vehicle. These are true "fog" lights and don't really light up the road that much, but should work great in fog. If you want bright driving light, buy LED's for your headlightsöI bought GTR LED's and the switch-back turn signals, and they are REALLY bright. You can actually see where you are driving! I would say the fog lights were worth the buy, but they were a bit pricey IMHO.
Almost there

I had trouble getting the connector pins to stay into the plastic connectors. I didn't have online access to get the detailed instructions of which direction the pins go into the plastic connector housing. Kind of seems with the cost of the lights there could have been a 1 sheet instruction with the light detailing the installation rather then having to get it online. On one of the YouTube video's HR pointed out that a number of LED lights on the market are not sealed. I noticed that the Morimoto lights have 2 openings which would allow dirt and water into the light assembly. I didn't know if this is for cooling or not but seemed light it could cause a problem for the lights down the road. The lights have a very clear cut off and are very bright. Still working to get the alignment correct for my installation. Over all I'm satisfied with the lights. If the lights had arrived with the connctors assembled already that would have made the Installation easier and rasied the build quality a point.
A little tricky to swap, But worth the effort.

Getting to the 2 upper mounting bolts on the carrier plate is tricky. But well worth the visibility difference. A much wider pattern and cleaner, whiter light. Highly recommend.
Amazing

I went with these due to the excellent reviews. I bought them coupled with V4 LEDs for my 2008 F350. The beam pattern is good however, my headlights drown them completely out! I couldnt take a clear picture showing them on together because of the drown out. They are no where near bright as the led bulbs that Headlight Revolution sells. My advice, keep your stock housings and just by their LED replacements. Oh and did I mention they do not "bolt it" like they state? I had to mod one bracket from round to square to accept the hardware swap, see pictures...
