  • Do I need PWM / Anti-Flicker Modules?: When using in Fog Lights: Unlikely. With low beams that double as Daytime Running Light: Likely. With high beams that double as Daytime Running Light: Likely. When the vehicle is late model American (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ford, GM): Likely.

Cutting-Edge LED Chip Technology: We challenge you to find another bulb on the market that produces as much light as the S-V.4 while still retaining a perfect beam pattern! The S-V.4 LED fog light bulbs utilize the newest multi-core LED chip styles that feature one long crystal over the entire diode array to create a seamless light output source. Most LED fog light bulbs on the market essentially create 2, 3, 4, or 6 different light sources by stacking 2-6 different chips together in a line. The NLW1860CV2 chips are based on XD14 technology developed by CREE, this custom designed LED chip has no light gap between diodes which gives it a closer function compared to the original filament bulb, thus achieving a greater beam accuracy that works best in any fog light or fog light housing.

Thermal Management: The S-V.4 LED fog light bulbs are built from the highest quality 6063 aluminum material originally designed for aircraft and space craft applications. This material has amazing heat dissipation qualities as well as is 100% corrosion resistant in automotive applications. On the bottom of the heat sink lies a high-speed double ball bearing micro-fan that is fully submersible and waterproof! If the fan stops working, the sophisticated thermal management system inside the bulb will dim the fog light until it is safe to use. Considering that these bulbs can be up to 6x brighter than your original bulbs, even at 50% power, they will still be safe to use on the street in most situations. The heavy duty LED bulb power driver has a built in smart fan circuit that ramps up the speed of the cooling fan as necessary so it's as quiet as possible when it can be.

Compact Design: Most LED fog light bulbs that use a fan-based active cooling system are known for not being small or easy to fit inside fog light housings with a dust cover. The S-V.4 is designed to be as compact as possible. The mounting depth is 20-25mm on most bulb variants, low profile enough to fit even the most demanding of spaces! The heat sink / fan diameter is only 39mm! The LED driver on this bulb is larger than the previous generation, but it is still the right size to fit inside most fog light housings comfortably.

CANBUS Compliant: Do your LED fog light bulbs flicker, pulse, give you errors and warnings on the dash? Do they even work at all?? Chances are your vehicle employs some version of CANBUS or PWM to control the lighting functions. These complex OEM systems rely on the physical readings of your original fog light filament to determine of your bulbs are operating properly. Simply put, when you install an LED fog light bulb, that function sometime determines that the bulb is broken, or missing entirely and will cause the truck to malfunction. Sometimes this means they don't come on at all, other times they flash, and sometimes they will suddenly shut off while you're driving! All of these things are solved by the built in CANBUS integration circuit found already inside the S-V.4 LED driver. Sometimes an extra PWM module may still be necessary, but this bulb is totally plug and play on the vast majority of vehicles on the road today, even brand new models!

Dimming: The S-V.4 bulbs dim less and less bright until they turn off at 8V DC.

DRL: If the DRL function is lower than 8V DC, the bulbs will just not turn on at all. But if they use CANBUS or PWM at 12V DC they will work normally.

CANBUS: Some vehicles use CANBUS function to monitor and control your fog light and fog light bulbs. The S-V.4 has a slightly larger LED driver than normal because the CANBUS anti-flicker and anti-error circuitry is built in! No external components should be needed to install these bulbs with a CANBUS-Equipped vehicle. Easy plug and play installation. 2 year warranty.

Want your fog lights: to shine brighter and further but your current bulbs just aren't cutting it? Want to get rid of that old yellow light tint and give your ride an updated look with a cool white light beam? Look no further! These LED fog light bulbs will cast a precise light beam that will give you increased visibility, a wider viewing angle, and a much longer lifetime over conventional halogen bulbs.

The S-V.4: comes in every popular style to replace any fog light or fog light bulb. Match the bulb number of your original application (example: 9005, 9006, H4, H13, etc...) with the matching S-V.4 LED fog light bulb and replace bulb for bulb. Fits all applications including projectors, and fog lights with dust shield covers.

The KILLER BUZZ!!!

by

I had bought a H4 set for my Sequoia because of the great review that it retains it's beam pattern as OEM. When I installed it and first turned it on it was definitely brighter and almost as good of a beam pattern at a halogen. It was close but not perfect. I guess that varies from manufacture to manufacture, for example my Toyota Sequoia housing will reflect beam slightly different than say a Subaru Forester even though they both use the H4 bulb. When I turned it on, one of the bulb had a buzz to it. Loud enough that you can hear it over the engine noise. I didn't think to much about it and chalked it up to the fan. Even though when I flipped it to high beam then buzz went away. It was odd to me but it was working so I let it be and that maybe it probably needed to break in... as time past, that was not the case. That buzzing bulb ended up going out within a year. I pulled the bulb out and you can definitely smell the electrical burn odor. The low beam diodes was burnt, evident by the black smoke smear on the diodes. However the high beam diode still worked. I wasn't going to drive around with high beams. I made a warranty claim with HR, the process was to cut up the defective bulb per their instructions. I did just that, sent in the pictures to show. HR sent out a replacement. When I received the replacement bulb, I installed it. Tested it out, listen to any abnormal noise from prior experience. Everything goes smoothly, no buzz, and shines bright. Every now and then you get a dud. But a lot of the satisfaction is how well the service handles you. HR has great costumer service and warrantied my defective bulb with no issues. Would definitely shop with HR again on future light needs.

Supernova V4 R50 Pathfinder

This was simply an amazing upgrade for my 2004 Nissan Pathfinder LE Platinum. Stock lights are boring, but these were the perfect replacement. The beam pattern has a nice, sharp, stock looking cutoff. Money well spent.

Very good upgrade to OEM/ Stock H4 bulbs!

by

H4 installed on a 2010 CRV with DRL function. I have to say that the beam pattern and cut off for a reflector type headlight is 90% close to OEM bulbs which is very good. Passenger side was an easy install but I have to take the fuse box and mounting braket off (2x 10mm hex bolt) to make room for installation at the driver side. Otherwise, very doable. Bulb looks to be of good quility, heavy solid aluminium including the driver housing. Light output was atleast 50-75% more on the road. Adjusted aim down a little bit from stock setting to reduce glare for oncoming traffic. And DRL functions as normal, meaning the high beams are on but are dimmer setting. When you put the high beams on then it's very bright. I think for the price it's 5/5! For light output 4/5 (but again it's 6000k, if it were 5000k then it would have appeared brighter on the road). Durability/ lifespan is to be determined at this time. But it should last at least 3-5 years of regular use with the improved quality of today's LED bulbs.

Impressive!

I have read and watched alot of LED bulb reviews online and on Youtube. But I never fully understood why people changed bulbs to LED, because the light it produced was horrible and the beam pattern was all over the place.

But when I came across HR and saw their reviews of different bulbs I got curious. So I decides to opt for the S-V.4 V.4 H4 in my 2016 Peugeot Partner (reflector headlights).
I saw on the videos posted that the H11 and so on performed very good, but I never saw the H4 in action. So I was pretty excited of how they would perfom.

They arrived at my house in Norway 8 days after I ordered them. (Cudos for fast shipping:D)
They were super easy to install, and they are really nice and bright and luminates the road a hell of alot better!! And the beam-pattern is wider than with halogen bulbs, but with a nice clean cut-off!
I whole-heartedly recommend these to anyone considering LED bulbs! Forget about the cheap china knock-offs youÄôve probably seen a dozen reviews of, if you buy from HR youÄôll get every penny of your moneyÄôs worth!

Super bulbs!!

Night and Day Difference

by -

I replaced the stock halogen headlights on a 2006 Yamaha Vector snowmobile with a pair of S-V.4 V.4 LED Headlights, H4/9003 Bulbs.

The installation for my application required some minor trimming with a dremmel of the plastic hood material near the headlight housing. Once that was completed, the bulbs dropped right into place and connections were plug and play.

The difference in effective lighting is HUGE. The bulbs give off a bright white light compared to the yellowish OEM halogen lighting.

The bulbs and drivers appear to be of high quality materials.

I have tested the lights since installation and can say that night riding is easier and safer as a result of improved vision and the ability to see further ahead on the trails.

Very satisfied so far.

Installed into classic english headlight bucket, and it works!

by -

Wanted to get some better light from my classic Mini without stressing the tiny alternator or changing the look of the car too drastically. Installed these into some Carello H4 headlamps the car had and there were only a few mods to be made. First and most time consuming was fabricating a bulb holder since the standard H4 mounting ring would not work on the LED. I used a 7/8" ID washer that, with some cutting an filing made a u-shaped spacer to hold the lam in place. Some small mounting tabs from another application, screwed in with Lock Tite hold the lamp in the correct spot. Next was the rubber dust cover that needed to be opened slightly to allow the cover to be pulled over the bulb and onto the original Carello mounting ring - there was enough room for some clearance around the heat sink base and the flexible sink was splayed out behind it. The final bit to install was the LED control box. Because of the limited cabling on the S-V.4 V.3 I had to find space inside the headlamp bucket. With the standard English car spec 7" lamp installation, there is a mounting ring that sits inside the bucket that the lamp sits in and the finishing ring is screwed onto. The mounting needed a 1.5" x 2" piece removed from the inside edge of the ring to allow clearance for the control box to be screwed onto the bucket and not affect the mounting or function of the lamp. Finally the wiring from the original headlamp plug was removed from the plastic socket and wired direct to the S-V.4 headlamp plug, since there was no room for both together. Some heat shrink and tape sealed that up. Lamps worked fine, just as expected. Light output was greater, albeit with the modern look of 6000K instead of the 2800K look of tungsten with (possibly) poor grounding. I like this solution better than the bug-eyed look of 7" LED replacements that I feel are out of place on some cars.

Purchased S-V.4 V.4 LED Headlights H4/9003 to replace Sylvania bulbs that were constantly burning out. Can not be happier so far. Bulbs provide a brighter, cleaner white light. Exceed my expectations.
