2001-2004 Toyota Tacoma LED Interior kit (Map Lights And Rear Dome): These bulbs have a safe and low-profile opaque white plastic shell around the LEDs to ensure no contact with metal electrical connections. These bulbs are the exact same dimensions as your original festoon bulbs and install with ease. These bulbs are polarity-universal, meaning they can be plugged in either way and they will still work - this makes for a super easy install!

Do not work without modification on a 2001 tacoma
2001-2001 Toyota Tacoma LED interior kit

I ordered a 2001-2004 Toyota Tacoma LED interior light kit and found out that these LED bulbs do not work on my 2002 Toyota Tacoma. I made sure that the polarity was correct by flipping the bulb 180 degrees and it still did not work. I've tried numerous brands of interior LED lights and non of them work unless a resistor is installed. I was hoping that with all the testing HR does these would work, but with my luck it didn't. Although these didn't work the HR crew does an excellent job at DIY videos and testing other brands to ensure the best product is being sold to their customers.
Only came with one correct bulb.

Ordered this assuming it would be the correct bulb sizes. Only one bulb was the right size and they are all supposed to be the same, DE3175.
they do not work..... if the car isn't "On"

They work fine if the engine has been started, but do not work if the car door is just opened....
