Decided to buy these lights after watching the HR YouTube video comparing all the headlight housings for my generation of F150. The lights themselves are easily installed and connected on my Ecoboost with no modification to the vacuum pump under the drivers side light needed (just be careful sliding the lights in and it'll be fine). Adjustment for up and down was pretty simple as there are factory cutouts in the Ford frame which allow access to the adjustment screws on the Morimoto lights. Overall, install and adjustment is 5-star worthy.

Brightness just doesn't seem to be what I expected from watching several video reviews online including those by HR. I find myself driving down the road at night and watching my lights be washed out by other cars or streetlights that are around me when I felt like they should be brighter than most standard lights. High beams leave some to be desired also.

I know the price is high, but these are a head turner. Check if you have HID stock lights so you get the required adapter.

Hello Moto....so they are expensive but you get what you pay for with headlights and in regular life. Pay attention pre-buy if you have HID stock lights and connections, you need the adapter. The install is easy, watch the video, piece of cake.

Adjusting the high and low beams can be challenging. Easy tip, find a level spot with a flat wall and tape where you truck is parked and then tape your stock lishts off where they hit the wall. Vertical and horizontal, high beams, and low and then take pics so you have a backup. The install your new headlights park in the same place as before and adjust your lights to where your tape marks are on the wall. Expect this to take 10-15 minutes per light, kepp them unbolted until you are happy.

These are a stunner compared to stock, you will love them.

By far, the best lighting I've ever had in a vehicle... Period! They look great in the daytime also with DRLs that really get attention. Incredible beam pattern.... Just a bit tricky to adjust... Love Em..!

I looked at MANY headlights and types before deciding on these even with the price. The product description from Morimoto says "you get what you pay for". These were the most expensive I looked at. These fit exactly as the original lights. My issues were the original wire connectors and how to undo them. I'm a novice at mechanical stuff. I broke most of the original connectors on the truck side, and had to end up using electrical tape [and electrical grease] to ensure they stay connected. I wish the vids and instructions showed me everything. I got them in and they look amazing. The light intensity is vastly superior to the original halogens. They come preadjusted. I find the light hits cars in front of me about 1-2" below top of the trunk. Any higher and it might blind the people. But the distance the light reaches out at night doesn't seem sufficient to me. I'd like to see them set slightly higher on the beam. The sequential turn signals are just amazing. Overall 5 stars.

Don't look at the price! It is worth it because it is night and day compared to the stock headlights. other than the good lighting that you get, it is very nice and changes the look of your truck. Glad I bought it...

These headlights are extremely bright and cast a very long distance down the road. They have a very precise cutoff, so I aim sure I won't be blinding on coming traffic. I did have to go to Morimoto to get an explanation for an extra pigtail (used on HID) and detailed aiming? As it turned out they already were accurately aimed. Yes they are expensive, but in this aftermarket, you get what you pay for. And you wont be able to piece together a better performing or good looking set up like this.

These headlights are expensive but as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for. These are an extreme upgrade aesthetically and functionally over my stock HIDs on my FX4. The install of the housing is definitely plug-n-play but there is a little but more required for 100% proper function. The turn signals will flash during the daytime with the truck in drive and the headlights on the automatic setting. This can be fixed by using FORScan and the appropriate OBDII Dongle. Customer service was great in pointing me in the right direction to get that figured out. Very happy I have these and the DRLs are such an upgrade aesthetically you have to see in person to fully appreciate. Highly recommend these lights!

Great Product. Fast install - 20 min total. No problem fitting a 2012 Ecoboost. My right headlight fits just in front of the pump that is in the same cavity. Really brings the truck up to date. Looks way better and functions through the roof compared to the halogens. I would love to post a pic here but cant see how. The before and after pics would sell the product. DRL is super bright, turn signal looks great (I use in non-sequential), lights have very distinct cutoff, both low and high very bright and effective. Thanks!

The materials and workmanship of these headlight assemblies is phenomenal. I have been waiting a long time for headlight assemblies that are worth the money with the features and looks that these Morimoto XB headlights have. The DRL is super bright. I love the sequential turn signals. The written instructions where adequate for installation, but there are no instructions for adjusting the aim for the various lighting components. The 4 adjusting screws on each assembly are not labelled. But it is easy to figure out after you install them on your truck and then access the adjusters by opening the front wheel well liners to access the back of the headlight assembly. Just don't turn this adjustment screws too fast or too much. You will damage the adjuster assembly inside the headlight. These headlights update the look of your truck and the light output is as it should be. One of the best upgrades that I have purchased for my truck. Purchase yours today!!!!!
