As part of our Dodge Ram Video Series: we showed viewers how to install LED front turn signal light bulbs on their 2009 - 2018 Ram trucks. We supply only the highest quality LED bulbs from GTR Lighting so you won't have any headaches and they will last a long time. You can't use just any LED bulbs to plug into the front parking light / turn signal position on the Ram - these need to be specially designed to work with the RAM wiring! We have the right bulbs!

Great upgrade

The kit arrived with the hardware needed for the install (bulbs, resistors, self tapping screws and quick splice wire tap connectors). Once everything was installed, the switchbacks worked flawlessly. Love the color and light output at night.
Fantastic Switchbacks

Install was easy and straight forward. I waited 6 months to right a review because in the past i have had some switchbacks that work great, and then fail 2 months later. These have had zero issues, and work flawlessly every day. The white light gives significant nearby side lighting to the truck, and the amber turn signal is immediate, and bright. all in all, 6 months after purchase i am still incredibly happy with this purchase.

These bulbs are great...exponentially brighter than stock. I love the flashback option that gives me more light when I'm driving. The install video was great...just scroll thru the reviews to figure out the passenger side wire colors. I will be purchasing more bulbs.
Great Investment

Overall great product. They are significantly brighter than the oem bulbs. For reference, the running light brightness is about as bright as the regular bulbs at full intensity when flashing. Not obnoxiously bright, but a significant improvement. The most complicated part is getting the resistor installed. One thing the instruction video failed to mention was that the wires are different colors on each side, so when they say to attach the resistor to the specific wire, it is not the same on the other side.
Great product, but no instructions/schematic

2017 Ram 2500. Driver's wiring: Black and white/green. Passengers wiring: Black and white/brown. If your turn signal indicator on the dash flashes really fast but the turn signal outside is normal (what happened to me) it's because you reversed the two white wires. That's pretty easy to do on the passenger side because there was no wiring schematic or instructions with the kit. Tried calling them on a Friday morning, went straight to voice mail. Pretty bad when you have to read customer reviews to learn how to install a product. Anyway, I like the lights. They look awesome in my custom light housings.

I had to rip my Ram apart to do this install, I soldered in the resistors, I did it the right way.
The bulbs I was sent didn't work. The incandescent bulbs wouldn't work so I had to cut the resistor out...
It is now a hack job, I was sent different UPGRADED bulbs, why didn't I get bulbs that worked to begin with? I haven't dealt with mess #2 yet.
I'm not even sure if I want to disassemble my Ram 1500 for more disappointment, I think I wasted 80 bucks and a bunch of my time.
switchback led turn signal

i put these led lamps in as instructed, but the yellow does not work checked my connections turned the lamps still just white light and the white light flashes when i turn on signal light. but when i turn on the headlights they don't flash at all they react like there surging. i think its because the Canadian built Rams have day time running lights at the factory so i think i should of got the amber ones not switch back.

I installed these switchback LED on my 2017 Big horn1500. They work Good, except you will still get a error warning on your dash (parking light out) when you use your turn signals when the headlights are on.
