Craftsmanship: Designing a high-quality bulb is a task GTR Lighting took seriously. Unlike so many companies that skimped on every single detail they possibly could, the GTR Ultra Series 3 features a design that covers every base with real attention to detail.
The Best: While so many others use Philips or CREE LED chips, GTR went with a custom TST 7045 chipset option to ensure better results. Those results show through to the finished product too thanks to digitally optimized LED positioning that most closely matches the original filament tolerances. Combining these features is the key to getting all the light from the source to the reflector surface and ultimately onto your target without wasted lumens and glare all over.
Better Fitment: We've heard many who assume that because the Ultra Series 3 is smaller than competitors that it's weaker and less capable. They couldn't be more wrong. Thanks to TST (Thermal Separation Technology), it is more able to effectively dissipate heat, allowing the emitters to retain high luminous flux output. That results in 4,700 lumens of output and a considerably easier time installing them. There are zero downsides here.
Best Warranty: We can't overstate this. You won't need another headlight bulb after these ones. They're so solid and strong that GTR backs them for life.

2018 Tacoma OEM headlights are a joke, ultra series 2.0 was the best choice I could of made. Small price to pay for what I now feel is a much safer vehicle to drive to work as I live in a small town with not the best roads lite by street lights. Much cheaper way than having to buy all new headlight assembly to achieve the brightness output that I was looking to get. You won’t be disappointed if you are a tacoma owner.

A Big Improvement!

The bulbs were a bit of a challenge to install, the driver's side was easy, but the off-side took a little more determination. The results were worth it. Once I had the first bulb in place, I turned them on, just to check that it was installed correctly. The new bulb was a dazzling white, the stock bulb on the other side was a drab yellowish color. When I was finished, with both fog lamps upgraded, the improvement was remarkable. Highly recommended, it will transform your Tacoma.
Big improvement over stock

Very easy to install on a Tacoma; you can reach down and twist these in without even getting on the ground. Significantly brighter than stock without being obnoxious. I replaced my fog lights, low and high beams and they look so much better next to the stock LED running lights. Make sure and wear a glove when twisting these in; itÃôs a little tighter than standard bulbs and there are some sharp edges on the housing.

Dramatic difference from the almost nonexistent light output of the OEM lamp.
The wire for the lamp, that exits-(center/rear) would be better positioned on the side, at least for the Tacoma. The center wire has to make a hard bend to clear random sheetmetal just behind the headlight on the Gen. 3 Tacoma
