Mazda Owners: Because of the way the original halogen bulb clips into the housing, an HID bulb won't be a direct swap without these adapters.
Recommended: Check your headlights for a similar looking plastic part socket behind the bulb to identify whether or not you need these.
By Design: Slotted design allows the wiring for the bulb to slide in from the side, and then original clip assembly will hold bulb firmly in place just like stock.

These things are ridiculously overpriced, but work just as intended. They fit over Morimoto XB HID bulbs and still allow the dust cover on the gen 1 Mazda 3 to be used without modification. This piece is required if you are retrofitting HID bulbs, as their base is not thick enough for the H7 bulb clamp to have a proper hold on the bulb.
