LED Turn Signal Bulbs Built for Your Exact Socket
Most people assume any amber LED bulb that fits the hole is a straight swap for a factory turn signal. That is a myth, and it is the one that gets guys returning bulbs twice before they find one that works. Base size, filament count, and even the trim your truck can all decide what will actually plug in and function, which means a quick check before you order beats a redo after.
Trim level matters more than people expect. On a 2021 Toyota Tundra, the LED headlight trim runs a single-filament 7440 turn signal bulb, while the halogen headlight trim on that same model year uses a dual-filament 3157. Same truck, same year, different bulb depending on what headlights it left the factory with. And note that the turn signals stay halogen from the factory even on the LED headlight Tundras. Bottom line: confirm your trim, not just your year and model, before you buy.
Some LED turn signal bulbs flash faster than stock once installed, which is just the vehicle's computer noticing the lower draw. If that happens, or if you want to plan ahead, check PWM & Resistors so hyperflash never becomes a surprise on install day. Even so, plenty of applications run resistor-free right out of the package, and the GTR i-LED Ultra bulbs even ship with an optional pair of hyperflash adapters in the box.
Fitment call-out: confirm your year, make, model, and trim before ordering. Front and rear signal sockets change more often than people think, and the right bulb only shows up when the fitment matches exactly.
