Subie Spec: Take full advantage of the C-shaped diffuser inside the headlights on all 2015+ Subaru WRXs by turning them super bright white daytime running lights with amber switchback functionality with Profile's vehicle-specific Pivot LED system!
Switchback: Profile's specially designed drivers have a separate input wire for your turn signal circuit. When triggered, the LED driver will automatically interrupt the white mode and flash the integrated amber LED chips for a modern switchback turn signal in your DRL position. When the turn signal stops, the white mode will automatically return to its previous setting. Functional
Plug n Play: All Pivot LED DRLs are 100% direct swaps in place of the original boards, and that means they're also Plug n Play in the wiring department. There is no wire stripping, cutting, or splicing involved. A massive amount of effort (and cost) went into re-creating all the important inputs from the factory harnesses. All wiring in then lined with TechFlex mesh for an OEM-like appearance and reliability. The LED drivers are housed inside an aluminum housing that's been anodized with an attractive piano black finish and laser engraved with the Profile Pixel graphics.
Installation: Are the Profile Pivot LED DRL boards just too good to be true? No, not really. But let's be real, you have to take the headlights off your vehicle, open them up (which often times isn't so easy), and then carefully take them apart and re-assemble the internals to finish the install. Is it rocket science? No. But if you're not so handy or simply impatient, we do recommend professional installation for these WRX DRLs.
NOTE: If you do not have spare butyl sealant in hand, RetroRubber or other butyl sealant is REQUIRED. The OEM sealant cannot be reused!!!
